Default Reporting for duty!

Eagerly waiting for the approval of my new account!

Going through the practice missions meanwhile...

Ps. Any news on the starting date of aggressive operations ie. the war?

Patrol 1 will start on Friday.

But it will last a week longer than other patrols, so folks can continue to joing for the next week or so, an still have time to finish Patrol 1 if they choose.

Members are free to use Auto TDC, Manual TDC with WO assist, or Manual TDC without WO Assist.

And discussions about which setup is the most realistic are generally not tolerated. We haven't had a flame war in 4 years, so that is another thing we have going for us.

Good to see that some experienced Kaleuns are available.

Willi Lenz, first time WaW, is arrived in 5th flotilla. I´m off for tonight doing my training.

U-50 Reporting In. Tried to sign up, have not gotten a reply. Although I did'nt read all the rules before I registered and Did not choose a Germanic name, I would like to know if I should/could re-register to join up.

It sounds really fun. Cept I would like to finish the war! 12 Patrols might put me on shore duty too soon.

I have the exact same question. How does it work? Do you start with a fresh new commander when your first kaleun gets a desk job, and continue the war that way?

They did say in the rules that he could be called back up for the release of the Type XXI.

Yes after 10 or 12 patrols or so, you can opt for a desk job, or maybe even a staff position.

And you can come back at the end, for a Type XXI possibley.

Default Training completed!

Training mission completed and report has been sent! Waiting to be assigned to a flotilla and an u-boat. Just in time for the war to begin.

I have to say even after only the training, WaW seems really great already!
