Wolves at War III Starting Soon

Wolves at War is a closeknit community of WWII subsimmers who use SH3 to roleplay the career of a Kriegsmarine WWII Uboat Captain. This is the third go-round, for Wolves at War, and many of us played in it's precusor iBlitz before that.

There is a BDU, Flotillas, Flotilla Commanders, Promotions, Awards, and individual Patrol Order issued by BDU to each submarine.

If this sound like something you might be interested in, check out our Website, WIKI, and Forum.

And you will find that this might be the original (or close to it); WAW is a descendant of the Iblitz Campaigns for SH2.

As far as I know, only Pacific Thunder for SH1 (still being played, by the way) is older.

Its true.... we've come a long way since then and so has SH Wolves at War III has made some major leaps over even WaW II. We've implemented some pretty good features. Looking forward to kicking off another campaign, the best one we have had yet. Hope to see everyone there.

Looks well cool, and sort of nerdy... but... well its not that thats putting me off its the "Must be at 100% realism" part.

IIRC, Pen, I'm not sure it has to be 100%. I don't think manual targetting is forced upon you. Might have changed though.

No manual targeting is not forced on you and, you can use the external camara to take pictures too.

I think our presence here qualifies us all for nerdy :hmm:

You have the option of manual TDC or not, it is your choice. The external camera can be used, however not to give you a tactical advantage or during combat. We are not a shooter 100k tonnage club, we try to stick to historical realsim where possible, and I realize that is not everyones cup of tea.
