Default I Hate This Thing

OMG. Why did they make it so hard? Why after 30 minutes couldn't I do everything? There are sooo many buttons and sooo many screens and places to go and things to look at and, and, and......

My life is ruined. I have a hard job that I frequently have to stay late for. I try and get out and socialise whenever I can. I'm already down to 6 hours sleep a night (and I do look as though I am!). Its no good I am going to have to quit work and live out of the bins, but how will I pay the rent and the power bills?

Oh, and there may be a woman leaving my apartment soon with her bags packed and looking a bit narked off.

I really dont think I should have bought this game - but I'm not giving it back!!!

Eh?!

Hard? take the time to learn first and remember the key word
FAMILY FIRST! entertainment comes later.

I havent played for a week now , I dont have problems with it....I dont have the time to play that much. I,m too busy. So calm down. take the time. and dont let the game ruin ur life, its just a simulator that takes time to learn.

I say screw it!

BTW, how old are you?

Because someone said that his kids (YOUNG, under 10) had fun playing that game and with ease (OK, with the GW Kid's Mod, but still). I learned the game quickly. It only took me around 1h to play all the tutorials (but that was with messing around and repeating the flak mission I like so much). My experience with SH1 and a bit of SH2 might have had something to do with it, buy it's pretty straightforward!

Now if you want many screen and button, try DW (played it at my friends once, said it was DAMN hard, he later returned the game and changed it for SH3 )

I agree that during the first few hours it was like impossible to do anything. I remember starting m first campaign and I my boat and crew was dead after 2 minutes. Top.

For me the hardest thing to learn was, I think to navigate corectly, and then to use the WOs help correctly to sink any ships....

Concur with that one. DW and Sub Command are very complex sims but once you've mastered the basics (if you like modern sub sims that is) they are excellent to play.

Indeed, attempted humour.

I never played a "simulation" before. It is quite involved and not as easy to put down as a regular game.
