NYGM help.....

ok i love NYGM, however there are a couple of things within the mod that kinda ruin the experience and i was wondering if its possible to remove them?

1. the 16km visibility mod- even on my monster rig the frame rate barely reaches 20fps in an empty sea! previously it had never dropped below 60fps even in busy ports. so please how can i remove/disable this bit of the mod?

2. the moon reflections, they suck! the reflection is bigger & brighter than the moon so it just looks silly and unrealistic, id rather have no reflections than this.

any helpful soul out there that could lend a hand with this would be appreciated as i really do love everything else about nygm, just these small niggles are ruining it all.

1) I had similar problems with the earlier NYGM install, while playing in WaW. When I was past the British islands and looked west towards the open Atlantic, my fps dropped down to ~15. I had no problems looking north, east or south. Just when I looked towards the Atlantic.

Tho, the problem might have been something else than NYGM. Just though to share it with you as your problem sounds familiar.
