Default NYGM - Radio contacts - Question

Hi all

I've two questions about radio contacts in NYGM mod

1- I would like to restore radio contacts on the map (It seem to me more realistic, because in reality, other Uboats and BdU send to uboat the known convoys roads and others spotted ships).
But I don't want on the map all contact spotted in visual by my officer. I want to determine myself their road, speed ...

To do that, I've to load the "Restore Gods Eye View" and activate in the game options "No map contact update". Ok ?

2- My other question is about the contact.cfg file.
I see :

[ContactSettings]
; Contact settings

Display Range To Opportunity Radio Contacts=300 ;[>0] kilometers
Display Range To Important Radio Contacts=1500 ;[>0] kilometers
Decay Time For Important Radio Contacts=172800 ;[>0] seconds
Decay Time For Opportunity Radio Contacts=32400 ;[>0] seconds

I think "Display range" is the range from my uboat the contacts appear on the map. But is it the minimum or the maximum ?
For example, The opportunity radio contacts will appear at least 300 Kms or between 0 and 300 kms ?
If it is the maximum how set the minimum range ? (For example if I want the contacts appear between 100 and 300 kms)

At last, decay is the time before the contact disappear from the map ?

First, excuse my english. Sometimes it is a little rough
Second, thanks for your help

That's better English than you'll get from most native speakers! I didn't even sense you weren't an English speaker till you said something. heh

For the radio contact thing you don't want Gods Eye View reenabled really, you should just be able to click 'no map contacts' and nothing will show up on your map. The icons are still there though, just invisible.

I'm not sure about the Contact settings, that's a question for Teddy.

The Display Range To Opportunity Radio Contacts=300 means that the radio contacts will appear up to the distance 300k's. What this normally results in is radio contacts that all around the u-boat from 30+ k's. They nearly are always as night and the amount are normally excessive.

I did not change this so I do not know the specifics of any other related changes.

Thank you Der Teddy Bar.

Just a thing : why have you removed the map radio contacts in NYGM ?
It's for more realism ? More difficult ?

What's your opinion about them ?
