Default why does it always rain on me ?

Well just typeing to you guys and my cealing has just fallen through ontop of me and the computer and the chair not to mention alot of other things, its not the whole cealing just a big chunk.

Should i cover the hole with paper or something and leave it till the land lord sorts it or should i just leave it open?

Is it water related? Has it damaged anything? You might be able to claim on your insurance or the land lord if it has.

If you were playing SHIII and were being depth charged it might have added a bit more realism!

Be worried if your GF starts shouting "Wasserbomb!"

I would move everything out from underneath it and leave it until the landlord has had a look, after all, it's to him you pay the rent, and he should (in an ideal world) be beholden to fix it.

(Says the man who is living in a half doubled glazed house with some horrendous cracks in the walls and an aga that tries to kill us if we use it. Thank you Mrs Landlord )

ring ring! ring ring!
"Hello, Injury Lawyers for You, how can we help?"

...remember, where there's blame there's a claim!

Seriously though, ceilings don't just fall down, even small chunks, and it's the landlord's responsibility to make sure that the property is safe for people to live in; unless this is caused by sudden water damage in which case there's probably not much he could have done so long as the plumbing was in order.
How much stuff has been damaged, appart from the top of your head?

What if it had fallen on a child? [/oh! won't somebody please think of the children"]

If it's caused by rain, could you send the rain to Australia?? Where running a little short here. Some places haven't seen decent rain in over 7 years. 90% percent of my state (NSW) is drought declaired, another 8% is marginal.
