Which patch do I use??

Sorry but have just purchased SH3 and have installed it and am not sure which patch to download to update it

As I live in Australia is it the US version or the EMEA version

Where did you buy the game from?

If you bought a US version use the US patch 1.4b

If you have bought the European verison use the EMEA 1.4b

I'm not sure if the installer automatically detects it. You could try with either of them and see what it does.

All I know is that you need the 1.4b patch (no need for any of the previous patches)

I'm guessing you have a EMEA version if you bought in Australia but I could be wrong.

If you have the downloadable version you would have to get the update from the source that you downloaded it from eg. direct2drive.com (not recommended btw)

Yep if you brought it in a store in Australia you will have the EMEA version.

I brought mine from the US as I wanted the US version

Yes! The US version is the best as it already has the politically correct nazi symbols already there without having to download them from some place else.

Take note that the version installed says "1.3".
It's an oversight on the dev's part, but it *is* 1.4b.

WOW! I only know 3 other women in the SHIII community. Avon Lady ,Webels and Chrystine(last 2 are from UBI)
