Determining Sensor ranges
Hi guys,
the mission editor provides an option to display the range of a sensor against a specific platform. Is it possible to calculate the sonar ranges (rough figure) in an 'easy' way by using the values of the database - so that you can determine the ranges during the game too? Thanks for feedback |

I'll also include that information in the mission brief when I'm making a scenario. Last edited by SeaQueen; 09-22-06 at 06:52 PM. |

Ive always played ww2 subsims til now and am having hard time judging how close i can sneak in to potential warship targets.
So, I occasionally use global event triggers + script in a simple 1v1 situation to Report i have been detected, and by which specific sensor. As i am more or less clueless , i find this method useful to simply get the 'feel' of a specific enemy. Last edited by Palindromeria; 10-03-06 at 10:26 AM. |
