Default Is ImageShack censoring my banner pic?

I'm getting a file not found 404 error on the following image I uploaded to ImageShack about 2 weeks ago:

http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/9...tsubmittp4.jpg

Here's a new copy for everyone that was linking to it:

http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/817...tsubmitqc4.jpg

I have submitted a complaint to ImageShack, asking what term of service clause was violated by the pic and I've requested a detailed reply. I'll post any responses I received from them.

EDIT: The 2nd upload above also has been deleted. Here's a 3rd:

http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/3...tsubmitoc2.jpg

EDIT: Permanent link of sig, no longer located at ImageShack:

Well, we don't know for sure yet.

And, ImageShack is entitled to set their policies as they please. My question is 2-fold:

1. Was it actually deteled? Seems so.

2. Why? What policy was violated by the image?

I wonder if they are just creeped out by the Arabic lettering. Had a passenger booted off a plane here in the States a few days ago for wearing a tee shirt with arabic script on it. I could have said "I wanna have Bush's lovechild". Didn't matter. It freaked the passengers out.

I uploaded a 2nd copy to ImageShack. Read my initial post again. The new 2nd copy is what is now working in my Sig. The original one is still AWOL. I've received an email from ImageShack asking me to forward them a copy of the deleted image, which I just did.

Stay tuned.

And you all thought this was going to be just another weekend! :p

Until someone requests them to delete it there, too.

Anyway, here's what seems to be the final response on the matter from ImageShack, who have been very prompt in their replies:

It was mistake, sorry about that. Please upload again, it won't be deleted. It is our policy not to delete images that adhere to the ImageShack terms of service.

The words "I will not submit" in Arabic (or in English, at the bottom of the

Do you have the record showing what was claimed to be offensive by the
person asking for the deletion of the original file?

Thanks for you swift replies.

It looks like it was deleted because someone requested it to be deleted.
They said it was offensive content.

If you would like to upload it again, you may.

I would appreciate a response. Thank you.

I just fail to see the issue here? Its their site if they dont want it on they dont want it on. End of story. Move on and find a site that will accept your sig.

If someone finds it offensive then they have to respond to it.

Drama, drama.

Will Muslims Buy Jyllands-Posten?
By Hjörtur Gudmundsson

Last week, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), called upon wealthy Muslims to influence the Western media by investing in them as a means to change the way they cover Islam. “Anti-Muslim attitudes” are to be changed through Muslim media ownership. At an OIC conference with ministers and officials from the OIC member states, Mr Ihsanoglu said: “Muslim investors should put their money into the world's big media corporations [...] so they can influence their policies through their management.” Mr Ihsanoglu also said Muslim countries should operate TV channels in the international leading language [English] in order to change the World’s opinion of Islam.
The OIC is the largest Muslim organization in the world, with 57 member states. On 7 December last year the organization unanimously condemned Denmark for its refusal to act against alleged “islamophobia” in the press, after the Danish daily Jyllands-Posten had published twelve Muhammad cartoons. At a press conference in Jeddah on 28 January the OIC again lambasted the Danish government “over its lack of action or apology” for the cartoons. “The Danish authorities have, by providing protection to the newspaper and failure to censor it in unequivocal terms, served neither the cause of freedom of expression nor advanced the goals of multiculturalism, domestically or internationally. The Danish authorities should have categorically condemned the cartoons,” Mr Ihsanoglu said on that occasion.
The Secretary-General furthermore welcomed diplomatic actions from Muslim countries against Denmark and said the anger against the country was reflected in the boycott of Danish goods. “If they have the freedom of expression, then individual Muslims have the freedom of choice,” he said. Mr Ihsanoglu said Danish authorities “had a responsibility to control such material which incited hatred and religious intolerance.” Now his idea is to ensure that Western media will only report what pleases Muslims through Muslim ownership. Ironically, however, the fact is that the Western mainstream media generally could not be more submissive to Muslims than they already are. Hence, the real question is: Will Jyllands-Posten perhaps be the first Western paper to be bought and silenced by Muslim investors?

And do you really want to argue that people must shut up - because someone found something to be offensive, and so they have to respond to it? They have to stick to their terms of usage - and not distort them becasue someone sees something that he does not like.

Glad you got it sorted out.

The kind of people that would get offended by that are the kind of people I would damn well want to offend.

Buy Jyllands-Posten? Haha, good luck. It is privately owned by a foundation whose primary goal is to run Jyllands-Posten.

As for the I will not submit in arabic. Is it a play on arab prowords or is it simply saying "Sod off" in politer words? If it is, can't see anyone taking offense by it on just grounds.
