Default Stuck at time compression X!?

Well, I have pretty much got everything in PA the way I want. Like: installed various mods, customized the campaign with PACG post processing scripts, got rid of contact reports and just use Korralle Editor to display likely routes from the SDF, even solved the save game problem with a separate XP partitioning and hibernating when I am done playing ...

Here is the last issue which makes it tough to play SH2/PA. From time to time, I get stuck in a very low degree of time compression ... meaning cannot accelerate beyond that.

For example, tonight I am playing. I had aborted night time attack on a task force. Initially, I evaded destroyers submerged and then surfaced and proceed to put distance between me and them. Now, I got more than 80nm of distance and yet I am at best stuck at 32X time compression. This is a real pain. Since I like to play my sub games to speed from one action to the next. In SH1, I can crank it up to 2048X and AOD will even go up to 4096X.

Here I am in PA with nothing happening and stuck at 32X. I mean I would like to bump it up to a 512X or 1024X until I get "Ship spotted, Sir!" or "Sonar contact ..." or the drop to 4X that means planes are over the horizon.

Is there any solution to this? I mean my life is just to short to live it at 32X!

Thanks.
