I really like the Type IIA. But for some bizarre reason, I can't reload torps!!! Filling the torp room w/a full complement of men only brings up efficiency to like 20%!! And adding a torp qualified officer only raises it to like 25%!!!!! Torps simply won't load, ever!!! I don't want to abandon this career, but it looks like I'll have to.
As I can't imagine that the Kriegsmarine would send out a unqualified crew, I presume this has got to be a bug of some sort. Because I remember playing w/Type IIA's in the past and they could reload, no problem. ![]()

If your not in silent run there is also a bug with that. There is a fix for it too if it turns out to be the bug. Not sure what it is meself but you should be able to find it with a forum search.
Sorry couldnt be more help. |

Oh, yeah. I did NOT have silent running going. I'm always very aware of when silent running is in effect.
I especially thought it was bizarre when I got the torp qualified officer in there and he raised the efficiency bar a bare smidgen, because I always find qualified officers increase efficiency in the proper compartment greatly.

There is a error in one of the big mods (GW I think?) that causes that. Someone posted the fix awhile back but, I can't find it right now.

I had a similar problem in GW. Crew would only transfer external aft torps below with crew in both fore and aft rooms. I have the GW fix (24 hr fatigue), could email it unless someone has the fix online.

Also, I'm somewhat tired of having to deal w/all the bugs. Like when I sink a ship but it doesn't appear in my logbook, that sort of thing. I may just stop the campaign game, it's too depressing.

I believe that I read somewhere on this bug. And the solution was simple. Just take everyone out of the torpedo room as the same time (move to rest) and then just fill the compertment up with single click (double click the name of the compartment)!
THat should you it. I'm not an expert, but it's the closest thing I came to. Maybe some of the great mods would enlighten us? :hmm: |
