A hypothetical question was given to me last night, and now I'm curious on if this is possible in SH3 to do. What if the German's had 1 modern nuclear submarine during WW2, including mondern weaponry and sensors?
What I'm looking on editing is surface and submerged speed, making the batteries and diesel engines have unlimited (or if that can't be done, extremely long) range. Afterwards I would want to make the torpedos pack more punch, and so on. I'm working on adjusting the speed first. I would think just editing the basic.cfg in the XXI (I'm using the Type XXI as my base submarine) for engine values and top speed would sufice, but it's not working. Any ideas on how to do that kind of editing? I searched around on the forums but didn't find anything. Tips or links to any topics that exist, if they do, would be handy. Thanks! |
