Hi all,I have been using IE7 beta for many months now, and I really liked it.But after upgrading to the RC version I seem unable to open all favorites in a fav folder in one clickHad this feuture been removed, or is it now hidden under a special key ?Before it was just an extra link in every fav folder.

I had IE7rc on my computer and it was the worst thing I ever downloaded. It is incompatable with my isp and meant that i could not open any pages.Somewhere along the line the installation removed IE6 leaving me totally ******!

Look on the upper left of the browser. Just below the back arrow there is a yellow star and a yellow cross. The yellow cross will add the current page on the web browser to your favorites. The yellow star will open up your list of favorites.
I for one have really enjoyed the IE7. Big improvement IMO.

I liked IE7 when it worked.Having multiple panes was useful when copying and pasting. However my system fell apart within hours of downloading 7RC.It took a LONG time to get it back.I am now running on a version of 6 and have Mozilla as a back up.

But thanks anyway, your answer pushed me in the right direction. After clicking the star I can rigth click any fav folder and choose "open in tab group", and then all favorites in that folder are opened all in a seperate tab. So one click allows me to open multiple sites, and THAT what what I was looking for I have no idea why this option is not available via the favorites option in the top menu bar ?!?!?

I used FF for a year or so, but got fed up with all the crappy extensions one needs to make it really usefull, and on top of that many extensions overlap eachother so one has to weed through several of them to tweak a simgle thing that.
Now I am using IE again (ever since forst ie7 beta) and I like it a lot. It simply works. Remember: my browser is just a tool, not a way of life, and also not a way to express my political opinion. ![]()

I have been using IE 6 along with Microsofts Windows XP home editions.
I tend to stick with Microsoft to be safe. Even with it's flaws I feel that using products that were both developed by the same company it better than trying to mix products. Until MS releases it's Window's Source code the other companies won't really know all the inner workings of the OS. IE 6 works good for me. Quote:

Word to the wise: Do not open up your favorites tab, and then click on the little arrow to the right of a folder full of your links. By clicking on that it just spawned every link in the folder and nearly blew up my computer. :rotfl:

Damnit, i must wonder about wich Crap People like me can start such Heated discussions...there will always be to Fronts...the FF, Opera, and Netscape front, and the IE front. But very good that the "Alternate front" gets bigger every day. @moose1am Thats Bullsh**! I never heard a thing more Ridiculous about Computers...:rotfl: I only use XP for Gaming, as stated above. It's also my Only Computer. I use Alternate software all the way. The only Problems i have come when i try to use something that Came with Windows, like that darn Retarded media Player.
