OK, I have looked at my CD, and it is all video. I have some video I shot myself on the wreck, and can grab stills, but it seems much easier to do this: http://www.discoverydiving.com/sub_gallery.htm This is the website for the local dive shop here in Beaufort, NC. The U-352 (Type VIIC) is a very cool dive, at about 100 feet. Then our shallow dive was a freighter whose name escapes me, a U-boat victim, but not a victim of the U-352. U-352 was sunk after being "skunked" on her patrol. She mistook the sub chaser USS Icarus, for a freighter at night. She fired her first eel which detonated prematurely, alerting Icarus, which promptly attacked with DCs, forcing the U Boat to surface. In the ensuing gun battle and abandoning of the U-boat, I think 15 of her crew were killed, and the rest captured. It must've sucked, crash-diving to avoid an escort with 100 feet of water under their keel. Herr Kaluein Helmut Rathke, was much despised by his crew.
