get rid of 'paused' in screen shot?

I just discovered the free cam functions during a paused game ... cool! Good for getting that great screen shot! Anyone know how to get rid of "paused" on the screen?

Btw, taking the advice of others here, I put two fish (both depth 8 meters, impact pistol) into the engine section of a cargo ship, and she sank in less than 1/2 hr. It was my first ship to go down almost vertically! Woooo ... what a rush!

Press the numpad´s 'Del' to remove the interface including the paused text.

And if you just want to remove the paused text while keeping the interface, like in those screenshots.
In en_menu.txt (located in data/menu folder) there is a line "90=GAME PAUSED", remove the text so it reads "90=".
That should do it.

The ultimate option is the Six-Dials Simfeeling mod. With that there is never anything on the screen unless you want it to be there-it's all slide-outs.

I had a ship sink once, and it was 120m long and the sea was only 105m deep! For like an hour it was sticking straight up out of the water! heh

Nice screenshots. I must have missed something, can you remind me; why 2 torpedoes 8m deep, impact ?

I always aim on the surface, impact, on large cargoes, large merchants. It's a one shot kill everytime. But I'd like to know if 8 m deep is better still and in what way.

Doesn't really depend how deep you make it ,but what you hit.
I usually fire at 4-5 meters and sometimes I rip em' in half.
That Nelson in LE is a damn bugger - every time I try to sink him,he either just sits on the bottom and does'nt turn to a side to get water over-board or I run out of torpedoes

I'm still a noob ... I just post a lot ...I'm still experimenting. Though it seemed if I left the depth at the default (I think 4 m) the ship would take forever to sink. But I think it's more placement than depth. Unless people are using super-duper torpedoes and not telling me about it.
