This may have already been beaten to death, but I did a search and can't find the specific question. I have some non date specific music files that I want to play. How do I get these to play as well as the dated files? Does SH3 commander access both the date specific files in it's own folder as well as the gramophone folder under Silent Hunter III?
I'm not sure if what I'm asking makes sense. Hopefully someone understands. Thanks in advance, Matt Collins |

Just plonk the non-date specific sound files into your SilentHunterIII\data\Sound\Gramophone folder.
Then they'll always be on SH3's playlist, regardless of what date specific files SH3Cmdr may copy across into the game. |

I guess that was my question. Just couldn't think how to word it. THat means Commander accesses both sets of sound files?

No, SH3Cmdr ignores the ones that are already in the game - it doesn't look for them hence it doesn't see them. All it does is copy into SH3 what files it finds under its own folder structure.
SH3 will then play whatever it finds in the gramophone folder. |
