Default Do all ships end up in ports?

I'd like to know if all ships eventually go to ports or if they just vanish? If they go to ports then I'm just going to raid ports from now on.

Thanks

Default Hey, I was born in Ontario!

Sorry Bud, I think they just disappear. You'll have to wait for Silent Hunter V for that.

Happy hunting.

Yep ,they just vanish when they reach the end of their route. This is kind of weird when a whole convoy dissapears before your eyes .

On the other hand with Grey Wolves the harbors have lots of ships in them...but also lots of protection, so good luck.

Yea I noticed prehaps its just my perception but it seems darn hard to find cargo ships for all the military ships.

It seems as if combat vessels outnumber merchant about 5 to 1 (shrug).
