Missing units from SH3

Which Unit or Shio class is missing the most in SH3 atm.

What about all the Vichy French ships that were couped up in the med during the war? The Itailan ships that were in taranto and bombed by the Britsh?. From what books i have read to my eye the are alot of ships that each country had that are missing. The are lots more becoming available over time thanks to great modders of this and other comuinties. But there will always be a certian ship missing that different people think should be in the game.

The good thing is that the modders read this thread too and see what is needed most so they know maybe what model they will work on next.

Well with the Spee's imenant release a few of the British cruisers would come in very handy

I know , when sh3 came out I wondered that they left them as they were very important and numerous.

There are 3 classes which could be represented by one model

Kent Class 5 ships
London Class 4 Ships later converted with different look after 41
Dorestshire Class 2 Ships

I'm a very big "three piper" fan myself - they have an interesting "retro" look, like WWI ships, and they saw action against most of Germany's heavy units.

Hopefully there will be one less missing ship pretty soon - here's something for the Australian SH3 fans. At first I thought it would be impossible because there didn't seem to be any twin 6'' turrets. Then the other day I found out about the "Nelson's" secondary battery.

I mainly do merchants and I couldn't get everything accurate, but anyway ...

If you guys have any rare pictures of British & Commonwealth CL's they'd be a big help.

The Problem with the turrets will be solved soon as three modders atm are working on the importing of new weapons into SH3, Mods by serge, Cmdr Gibbs and the Graf Spee by Gerome_73 will have different than the stock weapons.

Slightly off-topic: To heck with more ships, what we need is eye-candy.

Bridges, wrecks, oil derricks, tanks, life-boats, more sea life, new species of birds, and so on.

As for "main naval vessels", I'd say fill in the missing slots. For example, add an Australian Destroyer if there was such a thing (they might just have used British ships, what do I know). If there is no Japanese battleship, add it. If there is no UK submarine, add it. And so on.

Hehe If u find so. who can mod this in I d like to see that too, really.

But atm Habourmodding is not possible , trees and lighthouses were made, and sea life is very limited, u have to watch cdre gibs thread as he experiments with an Orca and plans to import whales and sharks.

I went for other class, wouldn't mind seeing the Edinburgh Class cruisers two examples I can think of at the momment is H.M.S Belfast and H.M.S Manchester.

What I really miss in the early stages of war are the 4 chimneys destroyers the americans lease to the british before enter the war (if I'm not wrong 50 of then)

I'm in middle 1941 and haven't seen any.
