How do I disable the damn erase all button in the navimap....I just spent three hours plotting a convoy and planning an attack and just by accident clicked on the erase all button, and BAM!!! all that work down the drain....heres the best part--this is the SECOND time I have done that....call me a klutz or whatever you want, right now i am too mad to care... just someone tell me how to get rid of that buttons functionality before I start punching holes through the hull.

Hell mate, don't trouble yoursellf bro, i've done the same one time two,
as for desabeling it, i think (not sure) you should look for it in the 1024x768Menu ini.file on data/Menu folder, i think under the section Navmap, o dose entrys at the Masnu ini, you should problably find the way to desabeling it by placing a semi collum
( ; ) before the entry of the Button...

In fact i think it's this entry

[G31 I4]
Name=Clear map
Type=1032;Button
ItemID=0x311A0009
ParentID=0x311A0000
Pos=329,-1,40,40
Materials=4
Display=0;No stretch
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/maptools.tga
Crop 0=0.640625,0.640625,0,0
Mat 1=data/menu/gui/maptools.tga
Crop 1=0.640625,0.640625,0,0
Mat 2=data/menu/gui/maptools.tga
Crop 2=0.640625,0.800781,0,0
Mat 3=data/menu/gui/maptools.tga
Crop 3=0.640625,0.800781,0,0
MatFlags=0x1
TexFmt=0x9
Font=1
TextFlags=0x0
StatesColors=0xB0B0B0FF, 0xFF, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF
ToolTipText=2253

I hope this helps...

well HAHAAYAYAHAHAYAYA

laugh it up folks. Ok so you want something else to laugh at....I spent another 2 1/2 hours replotting the convoy on the navimap this time being careful not to click the you know what...I spotted a large tanker and spent another hour getting myslef into perfect position....now when I say perfect, I mean PERFECT..I was at a perpendicular course to target and the escorts passed me without a glance....lined up perfect for the shot. the Tanker(large tanker again btw) was steaming right into its doom. I was getting nervous and twitching a little bit in excitement (I was also laughing nervously at random intervals thinking that after all I had been through trying to plot this damn convoy, I was now at the perfect spot at the perfect time) So the tanker was about 1 km off my port-bow and I took a last plot.... right after I got the range I decided to double check with my WO since there was no way I was letting this one get away...unfortunately in my excitement, I moved the mouse a little too far to the right clicking the ... you guessed it...FIRE Torpedo Order...from that point everything was in slow motion and a blur; I can't remember much except a tingling and a strange sensation in my stomach as I made some kind of primal noise/wimpering/cry. I fired the rest of the torps in desperation since I knew I would be detected, but the gyro angle was hopeless and all torps missed completely. Did I mention that all of this took place in pitch black night at about 2am? Well thats it for this convoy, I've had it, it is a cursed convoy and I am disengaging to keep my sanity...no i did not save before this...and it doesnt matter because I would not reload and go through all of this again anyways....but i tell you one thing-- i am going to relieve that WO when back in base.. if I don't shoot him first!

btw thanks for the suggestion but right now I am too tired and defeated to go on for tonight....
