I have a PIV at 3400Mhz with a Gforce6600 256mb and 1024 DDR RAM.
I have no problems in other games, but when I play SH3, I get slow downs specially in external view, when I change to external view get a slowdown, then all stabilizes but sometimes happen again. Anyone can give advices about how to improve FPS? Thank's |

Well, unlike other games,SH3 doesn't exactly offer many options regarding graphics...there's not really much you can do about it.

Try reduce particle rendering Also maybe try to end all proccess running in background before you start game SH3 is a memory and CPU eater so anything you can stop running in the background is a bonus |

You might try to get new video drivers... it helped me out big time!
at first performance was sluggish, especially when water splashes over the periscope or when there are lots of (beautiful) fuel explosions, but after updating this all is gone and it spins like a kitten! BTW, i don't think your system is too slow for SH3, as it pretty much compares to mine... P4 3 Ghz 1 GB RAM (DDR2) Radion X300 PCI express |
