Default single contact to torpedo time.

I'm curious to how much REAL time it takes y'all from when you get a single ship contact to when you fire the first torp. Say you recieve contact info about 50km from your sub.
For myself, I figure about a half hour to 45 minutes. I could probably do it quicker, but then I forget to do something like open the outer doors or send the crew to the torp room. I enjoy watching the prey slowly get larger and more beam on in the scope, checking the TDC a few times to make sure the shot is lined up correctly.

Depends of lot of factors. Where is this taking place, when, the weather. Usually it takes from 1½ to 2 hours. And another 3 hours for the bstard to sink. :rotfl:

By real time I mean the time you are sitting at the screen. Or at least having the game running while reading Iron Coffins or doing the dishes ( most of us kapitans are NOT kapitans of our house!)

I honestly cant say, it depends on a great range of factors. But when im in a position to shoot, setting up the shot takes me about a minute or 2 tops including final calculations.

I would say with the 16KM Visual Mod it takes from 45 minutes to 2 hours of Game Time to get in position for a shot. This is after a visual sighting.

Of course it depends on the time of day, and weather.
