Which missions are best for training in how to work the features?

Any mission with someone around is good for training, but if it's an enemy sub it's better. Better of all: multiplayer game

Look at SUBGURU's site at the custom scenarios section.
There are 3 training missions for the P-3 by Beer and 2 training missions for subs by Sub Sailor.

The best way is to create a simple 1 vs 1 missions in the editor, just put random box search and some box areas of respawn for the AI. After that when you feel confident enough start raising the bar
