Default Grammaphone & sub detection

Anyone know if you can alter the basic cfg to make sure that the grammaphone does not get you detected (if it does) ?

I've usually got the gramophone playing during my attacks and I don't think I've been detected because of it yet. However, mostly I find unescorted ships, it might be different in a convoy with a few destroyers around.

I'll try that tonite and see what happens, I'm right in the middle of a big fat convoy - I'll put on the gramophone and see if the destroyers swarm me. Somehow doubt it, I took out a T3 and a C3 in a convoy last night and the destroyers never blinked an eye. Far as I could tell they never even hunted for me! I won't complain

Well the crew gets so bored. Gotta give 'em some kind of entertainment to pass the time.

Actually their favorite is "that Tipperary song"

Im fairly certain the answer is no, they don't.

hell, they don't even pick up an active sonar ping. I've heard 5 or 6 pings will get their attention though. Personnaly ive never seen it.
