Default On Base??

The SH3 manual states that after each patrol I am required to spend time on base and do odd jobs and such. However, after several career patrols, I have not been prompted to remain on base. What am I doing wrong here??? Thanks

Default on base

When you start a new patrol, note that the date jumps a month or so. With SH3CMR you can set the time in base to suit yourself.

Be sure to read the readme carefully. SH3 Commander lets you adjust the relative wave heights, choose what kind of fatigue system you use, adjust the deck gun reload times, adjust the time compression values, adjust days in port (already mentioned) or set it to random (I've spent as much as 40 days in port and as few as 5) and it even randomizes your gramaphone tracks. It also gives your captain a face and a history, gives names to the ships that you sink and chooses from a 42,000 name database to give your crew individual names with over a billion possible combinations.

I'm sure there are a lot of things I've forgotten, but the bottom line is SH3 Commander isn't a mod at all; it's a tool that can be used with almost any mods and makes it a whole new game.

As I said, it's a tool designed to work with the stock SHIII game or with most mods. It turns SHIII into something much better.

To check it out for yourself, look through the forums, find any post by JScones and look at his sig; all his links are there.
