Ever pissed off poilitics?

today a some guy came over to my school to discus a "new" policy of goverment transperacy here in mexico, while he was talking kept on saying stuff like "this is the way to go", "its for the best of the country", "now you can know what the goverment does with your taxes", "this will release all the information".

then it it hit me, This sounds a LOT like the "glasnost" policy, so then i asked "so if this is so good for the nation, why is it that when the soviets did the same thing the country went nuts and everything went to hell?"

he choked and said something that had absolutly nothing to do with it and threw me out!:rotfl:
