Alt+Tabing works great,everything is stable.(atleast for me)

Game should run fine on your laptop, although not on highest settings, because of your video card.I would recomend to have better video card.

If you disable 3D you won't have any problem running with your laptop. Your processor might hang on large scenarios especially using time compression.

You may have difficulty if you want to use aircraft from the pilot's view as well, and whenever you're on the bridge of the frigate. If you only use subs you'll almost never have to use your periscope (except kilo maybe).

1. As far as I know, yes the manual is in .pdf form iirc
2. Yep, I exit the game all the time in order to view stats, extra-game programes, etc and and enter back into the game no problems.
3. Should run fine on that computer. I run mine onf 2.6Ghz, 512MB Ram, and a 128MB Graphics card and it runs fine. The most taxing aspect of running the simulation is running is it full time acceleration (you can speed through slow moments a game at 16X speed), but if there are numerous (20+ platforoms) on the game the AI logic demands will slow the game rate a bit (more than the graphics iirc).

Hope that helps.

1) Yes, there is a manual.
2) I have 256MB of RAM. Maybe I don't have enough RAM but for me, Alt-Tabbing is marginal - I can usually get away with it, but sometimes not; enough that I'm very reluctant to do so.
3) The game would probably perform adequately. Just don't use too much time compression.
