Well, of course there's 'Tipperary', and I think 'J'attendrai' is another of the Kaleun's favourite tunes. But I don't know which specific recordings of those songs they used in the movie.

I have a 'J'attendrai' recording wich pretty much sounds as the one in the movie, at least in my mind. If someone wants it, i upload it.

The movie's end credits would likely list all the song titles, maybe even the performers' names and publishers. Maybe this may give clues as to where to find them.

Very strange....a big no no on the part of the producers. Next time I watch my version I'll look.

There was a thread about the first song that played in the whore house scene, the guys listed the singer's name, the song name, even the lyrics. There may have even been talk about the song the captain tells the wireless operator to play. I like the song that played when the cheif was doing the crossword puzzle. Not sure what a forum search of the DB songs would turn up...too tired to look right now.

The song in the Bar Royal is called 'Mon Gars', and it's not an original WWII-era song. According to my copy of the soundtrack CD, it was composed by Klaus Doldinger, who did the film score, with lyrics by France Briffaut. (The CD doesn't include the recordings from the gramophone on the boat, so it's no help there.)

Nippelspanner, the Subsim Downloads section has an 'SH3 Gramophone Tipperary Song Pack' which includes mp3 files of 'Tipperary' and 'J'attendrai'. I don't know if they're the same versions used in the film, but you might want to download and check them out.
