Static in game???

Everytime I have a contact I get complete static distortion to the point that I cant hear anything in the game. Anyone have same problem and would love some suggestions how to fix this. I have reinstalled twice with no change. Thanks

Sounds like some kind of issue with your audio drivers and the sound files used for the broadband sonar.

I would try to update your audio drivers. Also, onboard sound doesn't always play well with DirectX and DW, so you might want to pickup a cheap soundcard if you don't have one already.

start>run>dxdiag>sound>disable hardware acceleration>apply

try that then run DW again.
