Default Moussaoui 'saved by lone juror

Or, so, according to this article:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4765041.stm

My initial knee jerk reaction was , "Kill the SOB!" too, but then i thought about it.

No martydom, no 72 virgins, no chance draw attention to himself with his final words. Just rott in solitary confinement like the worm that he is. Personllay i think the conditions at the SuperMax he's going to needs to be a bit more harsh.

If it were me, id put him in that concrete cell, weld the door shut, and never let him see the light of day again. Just rott in there, with no contact with anyone tell he dies. That beats the death penality by far, and he'd be denied the whole 72 virgins thing.

But it costs money, he's not worth the food he eats, he's not even worth the food he could gather for himself.

I say deport him to the interior of China. Spend the rest of his life on forced labor.

I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I think all of these guys should be tried under Sharia, the law they chose, by a handpicked court of our Islamic judges. Then, when they're convicted, they would be taken down to international waters off Cuba, their right hand cut off & made to walk the plank in shark-infested waters. The whole evolution would be filmed and sent to Al Jazeera. We could say, "Hey, we didn't kill him, the sharks did."

The other Idea would be to build a prison in sunny Point Barrow, Alaska. That way they could get a preview of the Icy Hells of Gehenna, where they are going.

Ok then feed him Gruel made of the crap people throw in garbage cans. That costs nothing. And when he dies. and eventually he will, a slow lingering death, we bury him, face down, facing away from mecca, and pour pigs blood and entrails over him before we shovel the dirt in. Then you televise the burial so the Islam world can see it. To say, This is what happends when you ***k with us!

edit: No, im not bitter, not at all

I hope he gets gang raped daily by Bubba and 71 other virgins!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I also hope that he is fed raw bacon, hot dogs, and pigs feet ONLY for rest of his life. If he wants to drink, let him drink pigs blood and urine.

I hope they run him through a cotton gin right before he dies of old age and feed the hamburger that's left of him to a pen full of pigs.

The last thing the bastard should hear in this world is "OINK OINK"

Cut off his eyelids and lock him in a well-lit room.

… Wasn’t that how hell was portrayed in some play?

The french had a good idea for this one believe it or not. They used to have at the bottom of castles tiny little cells, not much bigger than a coffin and people would get locked in there, occasionally supplied with food and water, no light, poor ventilation and no company but their own.
For the rest of their lives.

I think it was called the Oublier after the French for 'Forget'

Going a little off topic here - this is why I think it's better that we (at least the public) *don't* know the exact whereabouts or status of Osama. If the bad guys are executed, they become martyrs for their cause and thus inspirational. If they go free, they continue to inspire their followers through their defiance and by remaining at large. Incarceration is probably the best option, although not without risk - for it might encourage the legions they have inspired to further violence in the name of those held "captive."

I bet the other jurors are all wondering who it was.

I agree with the lock him up for life. It might cost money to keep him there but that is less that what his "martyrdom" would cost in others lives.

Lock him up but keep him accessable to the general prison population. Don't want him too comfortable.

Hehhe, yeah. Give him a cell mate named Ben Dover.

Actually, it won't cost more money. Studies have shown that the cost of appeals in a death penalty case are far more costly than imprisoning someone for the rest of his/her life.
