Default SimHQ, Bill Nichols, and Jamie C

Nice article about the European Launch of Dangerous Waters by SimHQ. Kudos to Jamie for the comprehensive presentation and Bill "SubGuru" Nichols for his Red Storm Rising missions

Thanks, Neal.

Don't forget that I've been writing AARs for the Red Storm campaign missions. Links are on the BlackBean DW forum.

I liked the AAR. It got me really curious about the campaign. The screenshots were fun. I thought it was especially cool that you put the carriers in where the carrier piers should be, etc. It's all the little details that make a scenario "feel" good.

Hey, now, question - what size box is this European release?

I understand most European games are the same size box as the current US boxes (IE., 'small' - it was European game shelves that pushed US devs to move towards this, IIRC).

....which MEANS, of course, that the European release will finally give us *the* manual in a format that fits inside the box!!

If this is true, someone PLEASE confirm, I'm going to be importing one of those suckers ASAP....

It would be also very nice to know, where it can be bought. The german sellers i've asked so far, had no idea about the game and it's also not listed at amazon.de.

Retail game software in europe seldom comes in "boxes".
They use dvd style packaging so if their is a manual then it has to be small enough to fit inside a dvd case.
