These puppy's they can help confuse an active torpedo and also help make the sub do incredibly sharp turns, not to mention they can be used as silent running engines and help move in and out of port. So what about it X mods?

And how can they confuse an active torpedo?
Also they are for low speed, not 30 knots. Kapitan you got those pics from subpirates.com didn't you. |

While IIRC they are electric, they are also tiny, four bladed, and probably not particularly carefully silenced. Deploying them also disrupts the hydrodyamics of the hull. I won't be counting on them as a "silent drive", even at a few knots. |

Aren't they usually referred to as "spinners?"

That i did xabbarus and i spoke to a person about them directly, i was told they were to generate bubbles or something, but yes i got them from sub pirates.

I'd like to know how tiny, high revving, unskewed secondary propulsion propellers mounted behind grilles operate more quietly than a highly engineered, highly skewed, slow turning main propulsion propeller. Let me alert ONI.

They look exactly like the propulsers on modern cruiseship launches... just retractable and really big.

Most modern RN boats have an "egg-beater " to do this.
