Heya,
today I had a game with a 688, akula and kilo, and it was so much fun! I got so used to SW battles that I totally forgot what this game i s about: not spamming torps and CMs. Is the SW really THAT more powerful in real life? Is it the "uber-weapon" it is in DW? What can be done to make the 688 more attractiv in MP? The way the game plays now, the constelations of playable plattforms are rather limited due to the different strengths of the platform. cheers! |

In LW/Ami, the 688I v. Akula matchup is quite balanced, but in most situations, the Seawolf has a pretty big advantage. That should be enough incentive to take the 688I over the Seawolf, just to keep things interesting.
Of course, if enlightened self interest fails, you can always leave the "player has choice of platforms" box unchecked. ![]()
