Default HAllo!

Hi to all of you, i want to introduce myself in this forum,
My name is Stefano and i am from Italy, i am new with SH3 and in this fantastic forum, and i hope someone can help me with a little, maybe stupid question, that is popped in my mind.
Is a normal procedure that when i try to plot a new course with the ruler over an old one, and i want to be precisse, the neew one is taking the old and dont let me trace a new line over the old?

I have to erase the old?

example:
i want to know the distance between two points that i have taken and i have to draw a line with the ruler over the old, how i can do this?

Thanks so much for the attention and sorry for the stupid question, but i want to learn to be a good captain!

Happy hunting to all!!

Stefano

Welcome to the forum! I draw a short line with its start point close to the start point of the old one, and then I drag it exactly over that point. Then I drag the end point of my new line to where I want. Don't know if it's the best way, but it works .

Welcome aboard.

The fastest way to find a distance for me is to use the compass. Click on one end and drag, a circle will appear and the radius is listed at the center. Sometimes it is a little hard to read, but that might just be my old eyes.

Default Hello

Welcome Stefano,

When you get into the mods, the first one to get is JonesSoftGenericModEnableer (AKA JSGME) and SH3 CMDR also from Jones.

These two make all the others easier to use.
