Default "too many sailors"... message

I just downloaded RuB 1.45. Used SH3 commander, chose realistic crew setting. Started new career in an IXB.

Standard SH3 crew allows a max of 48 personnel. 28 sailors.

In reality, a IXC carried uptowards 56 men: 32 sailors. This is allowed under Realistic settings in SH3 commander.

I tried to start my career, with the realistic setting of 32 sailors. I then got the message: "Too many sailors! Go back to Barracks"

This always happens in single mission mode: This is the first time this happened in career mode. :hmm:

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Too many seamen?!

You might need to go toss a load for medical. Or it's just a bug in the settings. I'd try resetting the flag in SH3C and give it another go.

It seems the only way I can start a career is to use the default SH crew settings in SH Commander.

Is there a way to edit the config files or something to change this?

Lighten up a bit.

I answered your question. I said it was likely a bug. You might need to completely re-install SH3 Commander, and reset the number of sailors. It's editing the submarine's configuration files, so you could very well just edit the thing manually. But re-installing SH3 Commander might do the job, and be a lot easier.

Thank You

It is just frustrating when you are looking for some help, that people offer nothing of value.
