I wish I was better at it. Even harder on weekdays when I usually haven't had anything to drink. Have to be up in 5 hours. Damn, I need to stop smoking too...

I'm an expert.
My record is about 28 hours. If no alarm goes off then I generally manage 12-14 hours a night ![]() |

I know the feeling PeriscopeDepth it’s a real pain when you can not get off to sleep. I never use sleeping pills because that can lead to diction. There are all sorts of factors that can cause the problem, you have to seat down and have a real hard think. Try to work out what’s causing the problem. Good Luck.
Ps Think of all the money you would save by giving up smoking.

Once I'm sleeping I could sleep for 12 hours no problem also. The problem is getting there. I've heard taking a melatonin supplement shortly before going to bed helps, but my girlfriend who's a pysch major tells me this isn't true. I figure it's best to learn to go to sleep without any sort of pills anywho.
Well, I'm gonna give going to bed a shot now. PD |

I love sleep. If I had my way, it'd be 11 hours all through.
At a certain stretch of last week though, I managed to average just over 2.5 hours a night ![]() That's being a student for ya ![]() |

If I ever sleep more than 6 hours, I spring up and flip on CNN to see if the world is coming to an end!

after next week my normal routine resumes 2300 exit from conciousness only to be woken at 0500 by the dog bangging on the door.

Monday to friday I get about 6, maybe 7 hours sleep per night, then have a late night (or should that be early morning?) friday/saturday with a nice long sleep in over the weekend and then it's monday and work again.
Could do with more zzz's during the week, but there never seems to be time to quite get everything done ![]()

I usually need at least 4 hours not to appear to be a zombie, 5 hours to be functional, 6 hours to be totally alert.

The minimum amount of sleep per night is five hours. In the week I get three or four before my brain gives up trying to keep me a wake. Then I get six to eight hours and feel a lot more refreshed.

Always minimum 7 hours for me...anything less and I become a very cranky camper the next day.
