Default Visual at night

I think that visual at night is too uber. Yesturdey my crew see a enemy contact at 11100 m at the night. I use a GW, NYGM Tonnage War Mod and Atmosphere Mod 16km version 2.0 LIGHT. For me this is very unreal and i want change this, but i dont know how. Pls help. maybe there is some night factor, but i cant find them.

A very old SH3 problem that has been waiting for the perfect solution for ages now. Unfortunately no solution has been perfect yet, however the GW Mod goes in the right direction.

Yeah, I like the 16km range mod, but the crew repors far too early, most of the time I cant see the ship they're seeing, especially at night.

AFAIK, the factors that control night spotting don't actually impact the distance at which crew can spot targets but instead alters the time it takes crew to find targets. In other words, at night your crew will have the same visual distance as in the day, but will simply take longer to spot targets. It's an unfortunate tradeoff with the 16km mod (though the problem still exists with the 8km version - it's just not as obvious).
