Default Daily Contacts Report 1.01 not working partly

Hello, yes it's the pest again. I installed mod Daily Contacts Report 1.01 using the mod enabler and part of it is working fine. At the early part of my patrol I get reports which are very good and some not so good. Anyway. In the instructions relating to that mod, point 4 states that the close-medium-long range was changed so that I would receive 2000-4000-10000 metres instead. But that is not working. Anyone have any idea why not? Thanks. Robert.

Daily Contact Report is a (no offence) "obsolete mod". It is not compatible with the realism oriented RuB I think you are using, IIRC.

I suggest that you read some old posts with new players asking the "which mod" question. You will find some good "compilations" of mods.

It is very frequent that a mod is old or simple not compartible with the other. There is a strong possibility that you end up with crashes / careers lost etc. a

I played with "stock" SH3 for 5 months before installing any mods.

Take care!

Thanks for the information. The daily reports seem to be working fine for me and I have not had a programme crash since I followed the proper method of installing mods, and it doesn't really matter if it doesn't give me the range in metres. Half the time the instructions are in a foreign language and I have no way of knowing how it is to be installed. I make a lot of posts asking for help and I think people are getting tired of my questions and don't bother to respond. I spend most of the day (today)downloading the newest mods from Uboot-Realsimulations. It says that they have been modified this April. At the moment I am taking on a large convoy at night that the daily reports informed me about and I am being bothered by a Clemson Destroyer. It is pitch black out there and difficult to see things and the position of the ship through the periscope, but I'll get through it, I hope Thanks again. Robert.
