Anyone knows what is the TMAP chunk in dat files?, I suppose is a texture, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Correct guess though.
An object will have a TMAP chunk for every texture that is applied to it. In general terms this chunk will contain information about the texture image such as the dimensions of the bitmap image and the type of projection to use when it is being mapped onto the object. But this is a simplistic explanation - I'm sure there are modellers here who can go into much more detail. |
