Hello.
I have a question regarding Weather in SH3. I have been on a campaign for some time now. I am still in the early 1941 stage of progress. On my last mission it called for a simple patrol. As I approached the patrol grid. the weather changed to a most unfavourable condition. Heavy fog, heavy precip, overcast, and 10 knt winds. Not the best conditions for engagement. I was lucky enough to find and position for a C2 kill. but visibility for the firing solution was only possible if I was within 500 M of the target.. now thats pretty close. So no biggy.. nasty weather. So I figured I would kill time and wait for better weather to continue the mission. then I noticed something wierd. 2 weeks had passed and the weather was the same. I traveled over 12 grids, 14 days back and forth. but still the weather was the same. and I mean exact same. right down to the wind direction of 201 deg. and another peculiar part was that the weather report said precip was none. yet outside it was a heavy deluge. ?? Was the weather engine stuck in some way? Is this normal? Is there a walkaround? Cause I tried to save close and reopen but this had no effect. Any input would help ![]() |
