Just getting back to this program after several years and hard drives.
I remember there was a mod you could do by editing a text file that allowed you to see the whole transition while submerging or surfacing rather than jumping between surfaced and submerged external views. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks! |

Ahoy
and wellcome back to SH2 :|\ what you need to do is open with windows notepad the file called "Sim.ini" located at "Silent Hunter II\Sim" folder, and add this (You can copy & paste): [DEBUG] FullCameraElevation = TRUE Remember that the ini file is also useful to detune the sonar in game (Enemy and also yours) if you add this lines: [SONAR] Sensitivity = 0.8 You can set any value between 0.0 (No sonar sensitivity) and 1.0 (Normal sonar) Good hunting ![]()
