Changing the SH3 Cdr Current date

In wolves at war patrol 15 has started with start date MAR 02 1943. I need to change the settings on SH3 commander to this currect date at the moment it states Mar 18 1942. This is no big deal but it will save me having to calulate the correct dates when i input messages to BDU on WAW site.
What files do i configure is it the carreers 0 in the documents folder where SH3 is?

I'm not sure, but try changing both careers_0 and patrols_0

I'll try that thanks, can't at the moment as im in a patrol. I presume i change the Crt settings? Theres Start date with month, day, yr , and Crt date with month day yr etc.,

I just checked the files again...

Don't touch the "Careers_0" file.

You'll need to edit these values from the "Patrols_0" file:

StartYear=
StartMonth=
StartDay=
StartHour=
StartMin=

That should be it. When you try it, post back if it works.

Or, in SH3Cmdr you could simply set the days in base value to 349 (ie 365-16).

Or, check my website for a date calculator that has far more use than just calculating new SH3 start dates!

Or, as Marhkimov said, manually alter Patrols_0.cfg (just the startyear/month/day values are sufficient)...and hope that SH3 doesn't get confused (sometimes it does when you do this).

I aint going to edit it until i return from patrol, last night i saved and then was about to do the editing but thought if i did i might stuff up the patrol big time. This is a wolves at war patrol so dont wanna stuff it up. When i finish the patrol i will and confirm if it works on here.

Last night i came across a convoy, weather was terrible and fog heavy i didn't even sink a ship, was kept down all the time by escorts and when i did manage to come to persicope depth the only way i probably could sink something is fire blind. Couldn't surface in fear of a escort come flying out of the fog and ramming me, couldn't speed up for the same reason plus the convoy was doing 9knts so all i could do was turn around and go hunt for something else. The convoy had a passenger liner! Are we allowed to sink those?

Patrol tonnage so far. 1 large cargo (in BF17)

Yup it did, confused that is. Wouldn't load unless i reverted back to the original date its was. I will try that setting in the SH3Cmdr.
