Got tired of the military look. Gave the crew a personal feeling.(Actually my girlfriend did the work

) i haven't gotten as far as to edit the crew config file to determine which drew member wears what. The loading of the uniforms is random, I guess if you were to edit the config file you could have unlimited clothing options for the entire sub.

Do the outfits come in Old Navy or Banana Republic?

Thanks ! The .bmp file makes the sweaters lay funny and the collars can't be changed

Someone did a version of the black jacket worn by the cheif in DB, I have that included in my files as well. i had one game load with all the new clothes installed, looked great!. Once it is done I will set it up for release.

Hi!

One thought: if crewmen are wearing their normal (non-military) attire, is there any way to get them to stop wearing medals while they're on the boat as well, since it's my understanding U-boat crewmen didn't normally wear medals while "out of uniform"?

To remove the medals and insignias, you can edit or remove the file from the "Crew" folder.

If you have photoshop, you can even remove the medals and retain the insignias.

I have been reading the book "Wolf Pack" and the author comments that checkered shirts were very popular with U-boat crews while at sea.

So when is the mod going to be available for the rest of us ?????

I want to change the enlisted crew uniforms and perhaps tweak some of the Officers a bit. I'll keep you posted on progress.
