Default Silly Question BUT .........

just installed SH3 and am doing the tutorial

1-9 on the keyboard controls the speed of the sub, but i cannot find the key to stop, on the chart it is the key to the left of 1, but hitting this does nothing

any ideas guys?

I have the scandic keyboard so it´s ö for me, I´m not sure what it is for you. It´s the third button in from the right on the middle row.

Removing waypoints.
In your main navigation chart, in the upper right is a toolbar. In that toolbar is an eraser. Click on the eraser and drag it to the waypoint. Hold the little cross, on the tip, over the flag of the waypoint. The waypoint will turn red, then click the eraser.
Poof, it is removed. Move the eraser back to the toolbar, put it in its place and click again.

Also, if I may suggust, add your location to your personal profile.
This will help people answer your first question, by understanding what country you are living in.

Actually , you just have to right click anywhere to "loose" your tool

Alternatively, while the line is 'attached' to the plotting tool, press the Delete button on your keyboard, it'll delete the navpoint the tool is connected to.
