ASUS 6600 GT and it's worked great right out of the box. Anti-aliasing isn't as hot as it might be, but I've yet to mess with it. None of the spray problems in the UZO or scope I'd feared- in fact, no problems at all except avoiding those d@#^ escorts with bionic ears and eyes!

Cheers

My 6600GT has no problems what so ever with the latest 81.95 drivers playing SH3.

Though I still only will use the 71.89 drivers as they are the last fully working and stable drivers released by Nvidia that have no problems with all the games I run.Any drivers above the 71.89's have been one peice of junk after another with one or more games graphics screwed up by them.

I have a 6600. Decent frame rates, but the smoke is slightly distorted at high AA levels.

I have a 7800GTX.

I have played SH3 with the following drivers:

78.01 WHQL
81.85 WHQL
81.87 Beta
81.95 WHQL

All of the above drivers work fine with SH3 EXCEPT the 81.85 WHQL driver release which causes grey texture shadow effects on the crew etc. Nvidia release the 81.87 Beta which fixed many issues with the 81.85 relsease including specifically pointed out SH3 grey texturing issue with 81.85.

Anyhow, I quite like the latest 81.95 driver as it seems to have good Image Quality and performance for the 7800GTX.

BTW, I play SH3 on 1280x1024x32 resolution being my native LCD resolution (enabled with the Dx9fix, without which the Resolution is fixed at 1024x768) on max settings and 4x AA and 16x AF with tranparency Anti-Aliasing, all turned on in the driver, as SH3 does not allow it through application controls/options.

The Game runs smooth as hell despite very heavy graphics mods including all the hi res texture mods and hi res subs etc.

Hope it helps.

thanx and obviously it does run smooth the 7800 gtx has 24 pixel pipelines and 8 vertex shaders but it cost like 629$ cdn and i can get the 7800gt for 429$ cdn and the 7800gt has 20 pixel pipelines and 7 vertex shaders i dont have anything against 7800gtx but if you look at the price-performance ratio on the 7800gtx its a waste of mony when you can buy virtually the same card but for 200$ less and the gtx runs a little faster then the gt which is not visible by the human eye in most games
