Default Cant stay logged in

Hi

Every time I visit the board, I have to log in again. Even though I checked the box below the login/pw fields.
I have cookies enabled!

Also, when browswing through the board, it logs me out on its own after a while (TIMEOUT?).
Then I have to manually log in, and the link I was going to follow is not working (sais topic doesnt exist). Then I go back and forth and I can access it.

Any board admin got a clue what I should do?

cheers

Do you have AOL? IIRC I read somewhere that AOL dynamically switches proxies a lot, so you get a new IP address every few minutes or so. That could explain why it the board logs you out.

I had this problem a few weeks ago when they were having all those server issues. It just fixed itself all of a sudden though. I am sure it is just some setting that must be adjusted wrong.

Definitely a cookie retention problem (I don't mean you're fat )Try cleaning all internet content out via Tools/Internet Options and Delete Cookies, Files and History (presuming you're using Internet Explorer)

yeah its cookies and it is cause you have 2 cookies from subsims, you have 1 named www.subsim.com and just subsim.com
you have to decide which way you want to access the forum, either use www or dont.

Delete your cookies and start fresh.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago too, and now it works fine. I didn't change any of my IE settings at any time, and cookies were enabled both before and after.
