That Taskforce in AN Grid

Every patrol using the RUB and sh3commader mods i set off from kiel and in the last 6 missions there a taskforce that roams in grids AN 23,24,27,28 Ive never manage to make visual contact with it, it seems when i get on the same path the task force always jumps ahead

So i do a quick u turn and go to where i think i'll meet up with it only for it to jump ahead of me again.

I can never get the bastard. lol

Those who have managed to what are the ships in this taskforce. Any BB's

you're doing better than me then, all the times I've gotten a report on a task force east of scotland I've always been North of Ireland and atleast 1000 kms away

Why tell be something like that, I tell you?????
I couldn't get to it if I tried

The taskforce travels in a square for a while, its not one of those that pop up and disappear. Sometimes shes travelling round and round right through the whole patrol..... unless its a bug and ive been chasing ghosts

Its there alright. Ive managed to catch it once by sheer luck. It popped up as a contact report and I was dead ahead of it. I managed to sink the trailing DD and then another came back to investigate which I also sank. Got 3 of em that way.

It caught me anouther time when I was making for the northern tip of Scottland. Thought I was to far away for them to spot me.

It was a tense half hour or so while the whole task force hunted me, but they didnt have my position zeroed and soon gave up.

The reason you are having problems catching it is because those suckers are hauling ass. Doing about 19-25 kts depending on sea state.

Its a group of at least 5 DDs. Maybe 6. No big boys though.

I managed to see a task force in the distance about 4 (real time) months ago .

I've seen it the last 2 patrols, but have never been able to catch it.

Now that I know it's a hunter/killer group, I'll stop trying!
