I seem to get a crash to desktop everytime I try to load the IUB1.2 via the Jonessoft Mod enabler. Is it the mod enabler that is the problem or the IUB1.2 mod? I just use the packed IUB1.2 mod and none of the extra mods included in the zip file.
I do these following things after a fresh install of SHIII 1. I place the IUB1.2 'data' folder into a new folder I create called 'IUB1.2' and then place that into 'mods' folder within the main SHIII folder/directory to be used for the Jonesoft enabler. 2. I click on the Jonesoft enabler and then see the mod 'IUB1.2' and I click on it to have it enabled. Thirty or so seconds go by and it is finally activated. 3. I start the game and notice the load screen says "IUB version 1.2 or something to those lines, so I know it's loaded and running. 4. In the game I go to career and click on that. 5. I created a new campaign name and then select the year I wish to play. 6. I am now in the U-boat base of my select year and flotilla. 7. I click on the crew list and notice the some of the pics of the crewmen are missing next to their ranks and names. (seems to be random...Possible bug? Things seem to be going downhill from here. 8. I click to start the mission and wait for the game to load. Somewhere between 65% and 80% the game automatically crashes and I am not ever presented with the view in the command room. (This is a strange bug and seems to only happen with the IUB1.2 mod and not with RUB1.45 mod.) Could it be that this mod is to not be used with Jonesoft mod enabler or could it be that IUB is packed with way too many enhancement that my machine just can't cope? My Rig... Well, it should work JSGME, but try a manual installation and see if that works. Or have you maybe forgot the install patch 1.4b?

I know it has something to do with just one small incompatability somwhere. Why else would everything boot up just fine. It has something to do with the missing crew member portraits in the screen where you assign crew members and officers on the U-boat. Randomly their heads are missing in the pictures, yet I can click and drag them to a place on the U-boat and when I do that their head is still missing. I'm sure whatever is causing that is most likely causing the game to crash to desktop when I begin a mission. Like I said, somwhere in the 65% - 80% range it crashes while loading the mission.

I Figured out my problem
![]() I just removed the following from the mod and it worked! Pascal's Crew Faces - Improves resolution and appearance of the crew faces. (data/Crew/Head/POS,data/Crew/Head/OFF/ - too many to list) Pascal's Crew Uniforms/Misc – Photorealistic crew uniforms, helmet, and rain gear, as well as the people in harbour and other details. (data/Crew/Body/,data/Crew/Casket,data/Crew/Helmet/,data/Textures/TNormal/Tex/ - too many to list) Strange... :hmm: |

I had crashing problems with Pascal's crew uniforms mod when it first came out as a separate mod. I never figured out what was wrong with it.
