Default Proper Carrier Aircraft?

we all know that the hurricane wasn't used as extensively as shown ingame. Hasn't anyone thought of making a Skua or the other one which took over from it (it was featured on the BBC1 program Shipwreck Ark Royal) but either way i think these would be a welcome attachment to the SH3 aircraft 'library' i'd make them myself but 3d max or wing dont seem to work on this computer. much appreciated.

on my looking for the name i came across a fantastic carrier website.

I'd take those, the mossie especially. The anti ship version would be scarry

But the FW 190 would make more sense than the 262.

BTW, has anyone thought about "simulated rockets" for aircraft in a simmilar manner as "simulated torpedoes" ie give em a hidden 6 inch gun or so?

Lancasters and B17s are too big. I'm fairly sure they where never used in Anti-shipping roles.
And the Me262 is too obscure. They went used half as much as they are in games.

The B-17 was used by Coastal Command, although they preferred the B-24. I don't know whether or not the Lancaster was used.

I would really like to see the B-18 and B-25 more than any others. My grandfater was ground crew for these two types in an ASW squadron on Aruba/Antiqua in mid to late '43 (Then I guess the Navy took over ASW). He helped load in the depth charges himself.

Seafire, Barrcudda, Fulmar, HE 177 and Beaufighter would be good aircraft to have.

The B-17C was the first model used in combat (by the RAF) Only 10 aircraft were used and all of them didn't survive long. The USAAF saw them problems and corrected many in the E version, thought they had to wait untill the G till they got the nose turret.

I'm not sure if that's possible considering the name.

Default Planes

Early war - Swordfish, Skua (Dive-bomber and fighter)
Midwar - Skua (divebomber), Swordfish (torpedo bomber), Albacore (torpedo bomber - this is probably what you were referring to?), Fulmar (Fighter)
Latewar - Barracuda (divebomber), F4F Martlet (fighter), Sea Hurricanes and Seafires (fighter), TBF Tarpon (torpedo), Swordfish (torpedo).\

I have a Skua but it's for the auld Sh2. Also got a German Fritz X type weapon but again for the earlier game.

Ironically the Shorts Sunderland is code letter U of No. 461 Squadron,
and the submarine is U-461.
