Default Rub Mod Question

I do not know if this has been asked or not already. I upgraded SHIII to run with the Real U-Boat mod and for the most part, I love it. There is one change I did not care for though. I like being able to see the direction of contacts on my navigational map, rather than a plain box. Also, contacts are removed from the map when viewing the map at zoomed in ranges. Does anyone know how to return the navigational map back to "stock" and still keep the Rub enhancements? My thanks to your response in advance!

RuB also comes with a comprehensive 'change list'. If you read through that you can proberly find which files have been changed and change them back.

Default RUB fustrations

Thank you for the sugestions. I have yet to find "unrub." I am now reloading everything because I have thouroughly screwed up my game with the "comprehensive change list." I do not have a degree in computer science! Please, if someone knows of the "unrub" or a way to keep the original (stock) navigational map with the nice colored contacts and all, but allow for the rest of the RUB 1.45 changes, please respond. THANK YOU!

You could try IUB. It has alot of RUB options and removes some of them but also lets you add them back.

Thank you! I now can start with a VII in the 2nd Flotilla out of Wilhemshaven and have a nifty navigational map to boot. THANK YOU!

Yeah, I wish I had a boat three months ago. We had a "remodeling" oportunity for my home. (Only two feet of water in the house.) Anyway, things are picking up here in Jefferson Parish, thank God I don't live in Orleans Parish!
