Default Lifeboat Mod

Please, please, please let us have a lifeboat mod. It would be better to see the stricken ship's crew floating off in a lifeboat than watching them all go down with the ship, yeah I know you can't see that, but in essence that is what is happening because there is no sign of anyone escaping the sinking ship. I bet most real u-boat crews couldn't stomach that if the truth was known.
You could make the lifeboat so it has a "neutral" or "friendly" tag same as neutral/friendly ships, so if anyone fires on it they lose renown, or make it indestructable? They could "disappear" as another ship approaches them, or after being afloat for some time, as if they've been picked up.

Anyone? :hmm:

I have not the knows to do that, but i think so the debris boxes wich are floating after ship sink can be modelled in 3D as life boats, and extend their life time by some hours.

But 3D modellation is a mistery for me.

We need just some body with the knows about that.

Sergbuto has created a lifeboat mod, but it's still a WIP. It consisted of a wooden boat with two survivors (those life-jacketed armed guards you see on the ships' decks).

May be the debris floating boxes can be replaced by this Sergbuto's mod ?

Yes that would work, maybe more than one boat? with different amounts of survivors? The life-jackets would look authentic too, yes?
